The reason why i chose this painting is because i like the way he made it look realistic. I like how he painted the woman and children enjoying themselves by the lake. It makes it look like a happy place to be. It was something i would never think about painting.

Trenton Hancock Doyle: His work really speaks to me, but him personally freaks me out.
Elizabeth Murray: Her work was really childish, the one that keeps you on the edge of your toes, but some were just too childish for me.
3. How were the works of Doyle and Murray different? They were different because his had meanings and hers did not. Hers where just shapes with paint, but his were meaningful art.
4. How were they similar? they are both really cartoonish, and childlike. It made me feel like i was in a children's museum.
